Current state
Systems for the continuous monitoring of seismicity, ground deformation and gas emissions are installed on Phlegraean Fields. In addition discrete measures of particular geophysical and geochemical parameters are performed periodically. The data produced by the instruments in continuous mode and those collected periodically are analyzed by automatic systems and checked by the researchers. The results of the analysis do not evidence significant changes of the state of the volcano.
